dRUMELODY | ECHO

The futuristic dRUMELODY came about as the result of a need for expression that is multi-medial, artistic and musically visual. The dRUMELODY concept combines electronic music, comics and cartoon animation with video.

The vinyl AERO dRUMELODY was released in January 2017 by Warner Music/Dancing Bear Croatia, consisting of nine songs. The female character from the vinyl cover is the main character from the animated music video for the song “Bad Sunshine”, and is a part of dRUMELODY’s concert visualizations.

Comix sound installation, called AERO, is the story of a planet earth that lives in pollution, and which is sending the message to create a modern, advanced living environment. This is the message we want to send to the world with this art installation.

There are many examples where fellow musicians have replaced the drummer in a band or some musical project with a drum machine. But it is quite difficult to remember an example in which the drummer did the opposite – replacing all other members with modern electronic devices. Sarajevo drummer, percussionist, strip writer and animator, Berin Tuzlić, has developed his music project dRUMELODY precisely on that track.

dRUMELODY has performed at many international festivals and European clubs. The best proof of his international success is the 15 global compilations on which dozens of his songs have been added in the period between September and November 2017. The compilations have been for English, French and German labels, as well as his global distribution house DigDis from Germany.
